My name is Shandra Oosterlaken and I have been successfully competing in both the all breed and specialty rings with a variety of dog breeds since 1989. I started as a junior handler before this time while going to the shows with my parents, Heather & Ron Veitch, and started training and traveling with handlers when I was thirteen. I have assisted many handlers both part time and full time such as Larry Clark, Doug Belter, Shannon Scheer and Opal Hardy to name just a few. Because I have worked for some of the greats I have experience in training, grooming and conditioning of many breeds from all of the groups. I have been rep-presenting my clients since 1996 and with the year 2009 I look forward to my continuing pursuit of presenting top quality dogs. In addition to Show Ring Competition I continue to study Dog Behavior and Animal Communication as well as New Grooming Techniques.

I currently offer Show Handling Services, Grooming, Boarding, Conditioning and Training for Quality Show Dogs. Preferring to spend individual time with the dogs in my care including time sleeping on the bed as well as biking or walking with the dogs daily, along with weekly schedules of car rides, and excursions to Handling/Socialization classes. As a result of this extra commitment I only take in a limited number of clients in order to provide the individual attention they deserve. Therefore the emphasis is on a will rounded dog that has a bond with me so I can get optimum performance and happiness form the dog when required.

We live on a quarter section located near Saskatoon which is beautifully covered with trees including wild Saskatoon's, Raspberries and chock cherries. We have a mixed pasture and hay field not to mention a huge garden. As for animals we currently have chickens and rabbits but are looking forward to including pigs again into our life.
